How to get to UK Biobank
UK Biobank is situated in the centre of Sheffield, on the ground floor of Building 2 in the Sheffield Digital Campus (Concourse Way) between Ponds Forge, Sheffield city bus station and the mainline railway station.
By Foot: We are a short walk from Sheffield Interchange bus station. Follow signs for Sheffield Digital Campus/Concourse Way.

By Bus: Sheffield Interchange bus station is just a few minutes walk from the assessment centre. Travel information is available from Traveline Yorkshire www.yorkshiretravel.net or telephoning 01709 515151
By Tram: A frequent tram service runs into the centre of Sheffield. The Sheffield Station/Sheffield Hallam University stop is the closest to the assessment centre. For information on tram times and fares, please visit www.supertram.net or telephone 0114 272 8282.

By Car: If driving to the assessment centre, please approach via the A61 Sheaf Street. Car Parking is available at Arundel Gate on Pond Street (postcode: S1 2PN). This car park is open 24 hours and contains 6 disabled parking bays. Alternative 24 hour parking is available at Sheffield railway station (on Turner Street – postcode: S1 4AA).
Motorists please note: do not use satellite navigation systems to get to this destination. While the postcode (S1 2BJ) has been confirmed by Sheffield City Council and registered with Royal Mail, if you search for it using a navigation system it will send you to a location north of the Cathedral (Silver Street, Tenter Street) and some distance from where we are. We are currently trying to resolve this problem.
From the North: Join the A6135 south towards Sheffield and the city centre. Continue to follow signs for the A6135 city centre. At Wicker Arches continue forward and bear left to join the A61. Follow the A61 to the right sign-posted A61 Chesterfield. At the Park Square roundabout take the third exit onto Sheaf Street, sign-posted for the railway station. Sheffield Digital Campus will be on your right-hand side and should be approached via Harmer Lane.
From the East: Leave the M1 at Junction 33, take the third exit and join the A57/Rotherham Gateway towards Sheffield and the city centre. Continue along the A57 as it becomes Sheffield Parkway, following signs for the city centre. Continue until the Park Square roundabout, taking the third exit onto Sheaf Street, sign-posted for the railway station. Sheffield Digital Campus will be on your right-hand side and should be approached via Harmer Lane.
From the South: Join the A61 (London Road) and head north towards Sheffield and the city centre. Bear right at the traffic lights and continue on the A61 Queens Road, signposted city centre. At Granville Square follow the road to the left and then bear right onto Matilda Street, sign-posted A61 Worksop. At the traffic lights turn right, continue following signs for the A61 Worksop and the railway station. At the traffic lights continue forward onto Sheaf Street (passing the train station on your right). Sheffield Digital Campus will be on your left-hand side and should be approached via Harmer Lane.
From the West: Join the A57/Manchester Road towards Sheffield and the city centre. Continue along the A57 bearing left as it becomes Fulwood Road. At University Square roundabout take the 4th exit onto Upper Hanover Street (sign-posted A61 Chesterfield and railway station). Continue through the next two roundabouts, following signs for the A61 Worksop and the railway station. At the traffic lights follow the A61 to the left (sign-posted Worksop) and at the next set of lights continue forward onto Sheaf Street, passing the railway station on your right. Sheffield Digital Campus will be on your left-hand side and should be approached via Harmer Lane.
On arrival at the Sheffield Assessment Centre: Please report to the UK Biobank Reception on the ground floor of Building 2.
