Studies have suggested that the increasing complex diseases may be caused by a variety of factors such as genetic factors, environment, lifestyles and mental problems. However, most of the potential risk factors still await characterization, as the current studies face the challenges of sample size, representativeness, confounding bias and other limitations. Our study aims to figure out the causal relationships of environmental, lifestyle-related, psychological and genetic factors with complex diseases and then develop the risk assessment models for these complex diseases. Our study may benefit the identification of vulnerable individuals of complex diseases and improve the precise prevention.
