With the global increase in life expectancy, Chronic Non-Communicable Diseases (CNCDs)-such as cardiovascular diseases, cancers, chronic respiratory diseases, mental disorders, functional gastrointestinal disease, and diabetes-pose a significant and growing global health challenge. Multiple factors, including genetic factors, environmental exposure, and lifestyle choices have been proven to be associated with CNCDs. Our research aims to systematically evaluate the impact of lifestyle, environmental exposure, genetic factors, biomarkers and other influences on the incidence, progression, prognosis of CNCDs. By integrating multi-omics data (including metabolomics, proteomics, radiomics, and genomics), we seek to detect new biomarkers, explore the underlying mechanisms and build the predicted models of CNCDs. This will enable us to provide personalized recommendations for the prevention of CNCDs and the improvement of prognosis, thereby alleviating the health burden on patients as much as possible. The project is expected to last three years. We aim to provide new strategies and methods for the prevention and treatment of CNCDs.
