The new website is due to launch in June 2025. Here’s a description of where you can find various pieces of information relevant to your team.

Overall aims
The feedback we received about the current site was that there was an overwhelming amount of information, so we’ve tried to cut back on the volume of information and focus on clear language and journeys to other parts of the site/other websites.
This ‘frees up’ the website to become more of a shopfront for the organisation to communicate with a range of audiences.

pdfs
Whilst we have moved away from having pdfs on the website as much as possible as they are not accessible and it is often better practice to have the information contained in them as html pages, we understand that some historical pdfs do need to remain.
To help with the version control of these documents, we have built a file download block which displays the date, file type and size and version number. Example below:
These file download lists are on various places around the site. Namely, there is a key documents list on Who we are:
UK Biobank is the world’s most comprehensive dataset of biological, health and lifestyle information. Learn more about who we are.
We currently have 49 pdfs uploaded to the site.
