Principal Investigator: Dr Jinyoung Moon
Approved Research ID: 129114
Approval date: October 27th 2023

Lay summary

We do know that sunlight exposure can induce the incidence of melanoma and nonmelanoma skin cancer (basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, etc.). However, we do not know how many hours of daily sunlight exposure could be dangerous in light of skin cancer. This project could provide safe hours of daily sunlight exposure to avoid the increased risk of nonmelanoma and melanoma skin cancer.
