Approved Research ID: 89994
Approval date: December 20th 2022
Aim: To investigate the potential characteristics associated with cancer.
Scientific rationale: Cancer represents a major threat to the public health. However, the associating factors of cancer remain to be comprehensively explored.
Project duration: Three years.
Public health impact: This project will explore the potential characteristics [including habitual characteristics (diet, physical activity, smoking, etc.), clinical characteristics (physical parameters, disease state, laboratory examinations, medication use, etc.), and genetic characteristics] that are associated with cancer. Findings of this study will improve the understanding of cancer development and benefit formulating targeted strategies for controlling cancer.
