High alcohol consumption and excess body fat are associated with premature mortality and reduced quality of life. Our projects aims to understand the potential adverse outcomes associated with joint exposure to high alcohol intake and obesity. Our overall goals is to help guide prevention efforts that factor in the joint effects of alcohol and obesity on important, common poor health outcomes.
