The UK Biobank Scientific Conference took place on 25th February and composed of stimulating talks throughout the afternoon, news about exciting developments, and research that derives from UK Biobank. The sessions

  • Enabling COVID-19 research

This session will shed light on studies that UK Biobank has set up to help tackle the global pandemic, as well as the ways in which UK Biobank has enabled the research community to better understand the determinants and consequences of COVID-19.

  • Democratising access

This session will inform researchers about how UK Biobank is aiming to facilitate access to, and analysis of, its database to make research as cost-effective and accessible as possible for all.

  • Multi-omics in UK Biobank

This session will take a deep dive into various large-scale assays that are ongoing within UK Biobank, such as whole-exome and whole-genome sequencing, telomere measurements, and proteomics.
