The incidence of digestive system diseases is closely related to lifestyle habits, but the specific mechanism of how lifestyle habits affect the onset of digestive system diseases is still unclear. The role of genetic factors and the surrounding environment is also not clear. Based on the multi-omics data of a large-scale prospective cohort population from the UK Biobank and the surrounding living environment, through Mendelian randomization analysis, scientific causal inference methods can clarify the interrelationship between genetic susceptibility, lifestyle habits, and digestive system diseases. Thus, early intervention can be carried out to reduce the occurrence of digestive system diseases and establish prediction models. According to the level of risk, the goal of precision medicine can be achieved.
