In our three-year research endeavor, we aim to uncover the hidden connections between chronic diseases-like hypertension, stroke, diabetes, and cancer-and various influencing factors. Using advanced statistical methods and delving into the rich UK Biobank dataset with half a million participants, we seek to identify new risk biomarkers, understand the pathways linking these markers to diseases, and develop predictive models. By focusing on demographic, lifestyle, metabolic, and genetic factors, we hope to provide robust evidence that can inform early interventions and decrease the global burden of chronic diseases. This project aligns with public health interests by offering potential biomarkers, refined statistical methods, and predictive models, contributing to more effective strategies for disease prevention and management.
