Research question: What factors influence the incidence and prognosis of cardiovascular diseases?
This study aims to leverage the extensive data available in the UK Biobank to systematically investigate the influence of various factors on the incidence CVD and its related outcomes. The specific objectives are:
1. Develop Clinical Risk Prediction Models: Construct predictive models for CVD across different populations, integrating diverse data to create accurate tools for early identification of high-risk individuals.
2.Explore the Impact of Lifestyle Behaviors, Environment, Biomarkers and genetic factors on CVD Prognosis: Examine the role of various lifestyle behaviors (e.g., diet, physical activity, sleep), biomarkers (e.g., inflammatory markers, gene expression), environment (e.g., temperature, PM2.5), genetic factors, and their interactions to elucidate their mechanisms and effects on disease progression.
3.Characterize the Distribution of Traditional and Non-Traditional Cardiovascular Risk Factors Across Populations: Perform comprehensive analyses to identify subgroups within populations that exhibit specific combinations of risk factors, providing insights for personalized prevention and treatment strategies.
