Our research project aims to investigate the risk factors associated with complex neuropsychiatric disorders and develop predictive models using a variety of data sources. To achieve our goals, we will gather data from the UK Biobank, a large-scale research project that collects information from hundreds of thousands of volunteers. We will utilize advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze the data and identify patterns and correlations. By integrating different types of data, such as genetic profiles, brain imaging measurements, and clinical information, we will build comprehensive models to predict the likelihood of developing these disorders and assess their prognosis.

We anticipate that it will take 3-5 years to complete the necessary data collection, analysis, and model development stages.

The potential public health impact of our research is significant. Our predictive models will enable healthcare professionals to intervene earlier and develop personalized treatment plans for individuals at higher risk. Our research has the potential to enhance the understanding, prevention, and management of neuropsychiatric disorders, leading to improved outcomes and a reduced burden on individuals, families, and society.
