This project aims to uncover if healthy eating behavior is associated with better metabolic phenotypes and brain phenotypes as we get older. The study will utilize the data from those with an eating disorder and those without to determine if contrasting dietary behavior factors and dietary intake factors, after adjusting for genomics factors, play a role in the brain structural trajectory and quality of life in middle-aged and older adults. The study will gain better insights on the effects of healthy eating behavior on aging to support a healthier aging strategy for all.
