Chronic diseases impose a significant and growing burden on individuals, families, and society. They cause the most deaths and are a major cause of disability and medical costs. Unfortunately, most chronic diseases are not easily detected early before serious damage occurs, and we do not have a clear indicator to diagnose the disease at an early stage accurately. Many factors may affect the development and diagnosis of the disease, including genes, cells, lifestyle, psychology, and even social environment. Because the mechanism of the human body interacts with its environment in a complex way, it is necessary to analyze the interaction between the human body, society, and environment one by one.
We aim to use multiple databases to look for the interrelationships among various factors affecting disease. We will also combine cell and animal experiments to verify our conclusions, so as to identify a series of factors affecting chronic disease, further understand human disease and effectively reduce the medical burden.
