We are going to find genetic risks for specific cancer associated with medications people commonly get. There have been lots of studies regarding genetic susceptibility to cancer risk. Commonly prescribed medications, including non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, statin, aspirin, etc., can also affect cancer incidence. However, the effect of their interaction on cancer risk is unknown yet, and elucidation of their link could keep people susceptible to unexpected specific cancer risks from getting the medication. This project will take up to a 3-year. In respect of public health, this study can identify the high-risk population for specific cancer associated with commonly prescribed medication.
