The main objective of this study is to clarify the impact of multi-layered biomarkers, including physical activity, lifestyle, genetic susceptibility, and inflammatory markers, on cognition, gut-brain function, and gastrointestinal-related diseases in the UK Biobank cohort. We aim to confirm our hypothesis that certain exogenous factors may influence the development and evolution of gut-brain-related diseases by inducing chronic inflammation, leading to an imbalance between mutational drivers and mutational modifiers. Most importantly, we enjoy reviewing whether sports activities, lifestyle, and prevention of other environmental exposures can be applied to improve gut-brain function and prevent gastrointestinal-related diseases. The second goal of our research is to study which dietary patterns help improve cognitive function in the population and improve gastrointestinal-related diseases using the dietary inflammation index analysis method.
