We aim to explore the relationship between serum chemokines and different cancers. We have in-vitro data to suggest that certain chemokines may promote tumorogenesis in particular cell lines, and we’d like to see if we can find an association between serum levels of these chemokines and the cancers we’re studying in actual patients. These findings will help us with basic understanding of tumor biology, and may also be helpful in developing early cancer screening tests.
