Research Questions!
What are the key risk factors for the development of blood diseases (including malignant hematopoietic disorders) and cardiovascular diseases?
How to accurately predict the risk of blood diseases and cardiovascular diseases based on UKB data?
Can the early diagnostic markers for blood diseases and cardiovascular diseases be identified?
What is the relationship between blood diseases and cardiovascular diseases?
Research Objectives!
To identify the key risk factors for blood diseases and cardiovascular diseases.
To develop accurate risk prediction models for blood diseases and cardiovascular diseases.
To identify early diagnostic markers for blood diseases and cardiovascular diseases.
To explore the relationship between blood diseases and cardiovascular diseases.
Research Rationale!
Blood diseases and cardiovascular diseases are two major public health challenges. They are closely related in terms of pathogenesis and clinical manifestations. However, the mechanisms underlying their relationship remain unclear. UKB provides a wealth of genetic, clinical and lifestyle data, which can be used to explore the risk factors, diagnostic markers and relationship between blood diseases and cardiovascular diseases. This study will provide new insights into the prevention and treatment of blood diseases and cardiovascular diseases.
The project will adopt a multi – method approach, including data mining, machine learning and statistical analysis, to analyze UKB data and achieve the research objectives. The results of the project will be disseminated through academic publications and conferences to promote the exchange and sharing of knowledge and technologies in the field of blood and cardiovascular diseases.
