Dates:
- Wednesday 17 June, 4pm – 5pm BST
- Thursday 25 June, 9am – 10am BST
Location: Virtual

At the end of April, UK Biobank identified that your data was being offered for sale on a consumer website. An independent Oversight Committee has since carried out a full investigation, setting out both what happened and the actions required to strengthen protection of your data going forward.
This webinar is an opportunity for UK Biobank participants to:
- hear more about what happened.
- learn about the actions that have already been taken.
- understand our commitment to implementing all recommendations in full.
- understand how we will continue to protect your data while ensuring it can still be used responsibly for public health benefit.
You will hear directly from senior leaders at UK Biobank and invited experts, with time included for questions and discussion.
