The Participant Contact Centre at UK Biobank is truly unique. The team plays a pivotal role in the largest health study of its kind, maintaining ongoing engagement with all 500,000 participants. Our service sits at the heart of this mission, ensuring that every participant’s experience is exceptional.

Be the voice that enhances our participants’ journey

Our dedicated Participant Contact Centre (PCC) team, consisting of ~25 members including managers, team leaders and advisors, plays a crucial role in our operations delivery and speaks to the heart of the organisation which is our participants.

Team members facilitate participant involvement in UK Biobank through scheduling scans, addressing any enquiries and ensuring that each participant’s experience with us is as positive as possible.

Every member of the PCC team takes pride in interacting with each participant, understanding the importance of patience and empathy when speaking to individuals from diverse backgrounds and age groups.
