Dr Lewandowski specializes in early cardiovascular changes in at-risk populations. His research uses advanced imaging and deep phenotyping to study the long-term effects of early life conditions. He joined UK Biobank in 2024 to help shape its scientific strategy, including the Brain Health study.

Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine, The University of Manchester

Professor Bernard Keavney is a Clinical Academic Cardiologist and Human Geneticist. He currently serves as Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at The University of Manchester, funded by the British Heart Foundation.

Speakers

Chief Executive and Principal Investigator, UK Biobank

Sir Rory Collins is Emeritus Professor of Medicine & Epidemiology at University of Oxford and has led UK Biobank since its inception. He is known for pioneering large-scale epidemiological studies and clinical trials that have transformed cardiovascular disease prevention. He was knighted in 2011 for services to science.

Professor of Epidemiology, University of Vienna

Eva Schernhammer is Professor and Chair of the Department of Epidemiology at the Medical University of Vienna, Adjunct Professor at the Department of Epidemiology at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Investigator at Mass General Brigham in Boston.

Cardiologist, Massachusetts General Hospital

Dr Honigberg is a cardiologist and researcher at Massachusetts General Hospital and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He specialises in heart disease prevention and heart disease in women.

Principal Investigator in the Cardiovascular Medicine Division, University of Oxford

Dr Winok Lapidaire is a Principal Investigator in the Cardiovascular Medicine Division, University of Oxford. Her research focuses on the effect of high blood pressure on the brain with a particular interest for the effects of high blood pressure during pregnancy.
